I must confess, the article may not be as harsh as the title appears. With its fourth (and final) season premiered on Netflix, ‘Never Have I Ever’ has successfully managed to encapsulate the complicated emotions of almost every teenager through an overtly dramatic series.

This summer was a thriving one for cheesy romance. The Summer I Turned Pretty brought out its second installment this July. I’ll be talking about all the things that carried the show, despite the highly predictable, lackluster love triangle between Belly, Conrad and Jeremiah.
